Quick answer
Before the visit we check by chat that a massage is safe and suitable for you. The therapist arrives with a portable bed, fresh linens and oil, does a brief check of your concern, then works at a pressure you choose in a quiet space in your home. Afterwards you get simple aftercare advice. You only need a small clear space and a little privacy.
Before the visit: a quick safety check
We start with a short chat about where it hurts, your general health and any medical history that matters. This is how we screen for safety and make sure a massage is the right step. If something needs a doctor or physiotherapist first, we will say so honestly before booking anything.
What we bring and what you need
We bring a portable treatment bed, clean fresh linens, towels and oil, so you do not need to prepare equipment. All you need is a small clear area to set up the bed, somewhere reasonably quiet, and a little privacy. Loose, comfortable clothing is ideal, and you stay covered with towels throughout.
During and after the session
The therapist does a brief assessment, then works at a pressure that suits you, checking in as they go. You can speak up at any point. Afterwards you may feel relaxed or a little tender, which is normal, and we suggest drinking water and resting. We will share any simple stretches or advice that help between sessions.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to prepare anything?
Very little. Just clear a small space for the bed and have a quiet spot ready. We bring everything else, including linens and towels.
What should I wear?
Wear something loose and comfortable. During the session you stay appropriately covered with towels, and we only expose the area being worked on.
