How therapeutic massage may help
- Easing tension in muscles away from the surgical site
- Reducing the compensating tightness elsewhere in the body
- Supporting comfort as you gradually return to movement
- Helping you stay consistent with prescribed rehab
- Providing a calm, gentle session in your own home
Serving TTDI and nearby areas
TTDI's settled families and active retirees often keep up weekend runs at Taman Rimba Kiara and weekday desk jobs, a mix that produces tight calves and stiff lower backs suited to regular home sessions. We bring the session to homes, condominiums and hotels across TTDI and the surrounding areas, close to the TTDI MRT station, Plaza TTDI, the TTDI weekend market. Landed-home visits across TTDI have driveway parking and easy ground-floor access. Locally, the people we see here often include long-term resident families, professionals and active retirees.
When massage may not be enough
Massage is never a substitute for surgical aftercare. Do not book until your surgeon has cleared soft tissue work. Any sign of infection, opening of the wound, increasing pain, swelling, heat or redness around the site needs urgent medical attention, not massage.
What happens during a home visit
- A short discussion about your symptoms and history
- A safety check to confirm a home visit is suitable
- Gentle movement or posture checks where helpful
- Targeted soft tissue work at a pressure you control
- Aftercare guidance, and a referral suggestion if massage is not the right step
Before you book a home visit
A quick WhatsApp chat helps us check that a home visit is safe and suitable. We usually ask:
- 1Which area are you located in (home, hotel or private residence)?
- 2Where is the pain, stiffness or swelling, and how long has it been going on?
- 3Was there an injury, surgery or medical diagnosis?
- 4Any numbness, weakness, swelling, infection or severe pain?
- 5Is there room for a portable treatment bed, and can you lie comfortably?
- 6Have you seen a doctor or physiotherapist for this?
Frequently asked questions
When can I have a massage after surgery?
Only when your surgeon has specifically cleared soft tissue work. The timing depends on the operation, so we ask about your surgery and clearance before booking anything.
Will you massage my scar or surgical site?
Not early on. We keep well clear of the healing site and work on surrounding muscles. Any scar work is only considered much later and with clearance.
Is a home visit better after surgery?
For many people, yes, because travelling soon after surgery is tiring and uncomfortable. A home visit lets you rest before and after, once you have clearance.
Do you cover TTDI for post-surgery recovery massage?
Yes. Landed-home visits across TTDI have driveway parking and easy ground-floor access. Tell us your exact area near the TTDI MRT station on WhatsApp and we will confirm a time.
